1. Dans les arbres, ‘live’ in Minneapolis, November 2014:  (00:52) In the first 15 seconds of this clip the piano and percussion (most likely a mallet on triangle placed on the drum head) work two different loops, individually and seemingly independently, but at the same time intertwined, forming a nebulous, impalpable arpeggio.  At 00:00:15 the guitar enters with a down stroke chord, repeating at a relatively slow tempo, adding a deep drone at 00:00:29 (as often before, luckily well-timed with the clarinet multiphonics), continuing to loop with the chord and the drone as two main elements. Slack rim shot added, completing a persistent and inconsistent human loop that pretends to be a machine.
